Probably 18-20 years ago a lady named Cathy Lechner prayed for me and sang a prophetic song over me….
It went like this…
“THE BEST IS YET TO COME
DON’T LET DOWN YOUR STANDARDS
BE BOLD! BE STRONG IN THE LORD
AND YOU’LL SEE WHAT I HAVE FOR YOU.
THE MAN OF GOD TO COME,
HE WILL LEAD YOU SAFELY IN WALKING WITH THE SON
SO PRAISE ME AND RAISE ME
AND GLORIFY MY NAME
THE BEST IS YET TO COME.”
The year was 1994 I was wounded, broken, sad, abused, misused and down right hopeless thinking no man could want me or treat me right. Two men had totally taken my heart, kindness, naivety, and insecurity and mistreated me so badly in every way possible. I was beyond wounded, but shattered and confused. Slowly and steadily… God healed, rebuilt, restored, and repositioned me. I didn’t let down my standards and I kept living for God.
Single women… Hold on and don’t waiver. Look beyond the packaging to the person and don’t let down your inner standards or convictions! Trust me on this…TRUST GOD MORE TO GIVE YOU HIS BEST!!!

I can see it clearly now THROUGH GEWANDA’S EYES!!!!!
far to often we lower our standards…we do it with people we do it with relationships, careers and so forth. There has to come a time in our lives that we must stand up for what we believe and stop settling.
